The founder of The FoodConnectors is Gerard Klein Essink. His motto is to deskill collaborations, operations, networks, and more things that can benefit from a helping hand or mind.

Gerard worked across the agri- and food value chain internationally, in research, development, marketing, sales, and business management roles. He worked in small and large teams at large multinationals in B2C, B2B, as well as in his start-up (Bridge2Food).

He is most fond of the great collaboration and success with experts, professionals, and friends, which led to building a unique ecosystem for plant-based foods and proteins.

The FoodConnectors is a boutique consultancy company, consisting of a group of leading agrifood expert professionals, who put the client first. We take ownership and will ‘work with you’. We are not the typical consultants, who ‘work for you’.
